Once living in Brandon, Derek with his strong work ethic, people skills and easy going disposition tried such jobs as Security, Bartender/Bouncer, ‘Party’ Casino Dealer, long time employee of the Victoria Inn and finally his dream job “Service Advisor” at Precision Toyota. Derek lived life outside of work to the fullest….cars, cars and more cars, and fishing and more fishing, winter and summer, extensive volunteering in the car community Member of B.A.C.E and Westman Euros. He was looking forward to the 2019 Super Run in Brandon. April, Derek and friends had just returned from a long awaited dream of attending SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas. The Ice Fishing Expo in Winnipeg was the last event that Derek attended with April, Sheldon and Allen. Derek was predeceased by his father Ronald and grandparents. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, April’s family, Elgin’s family and a ‘TON’ of friends.
